Mourning for SagWa

Today is cold & rainy 

A day that it's really hitting kinda hard over my loss

My smallest cat SagWa died this weekend

Days like this my little FurBaby SagWa would curl up & warm my hurting hip

SagWa never had any kittens of her own

but she’d go into “mothering mode” if I was sick or in pain

when grandson came over he was her kitten & she’d curl up with him at nights & stay with him for most of the night

let him be sitting on the couch she’d perch above him & lick his hair

she always seemed to know when I wasn’t feeling well

if my shoulder was hurting she’d come up & somehow she’d balance herself laying still & purring across my shoulder while I was laying down

if I had cramps she’d seem to know the area of my abdominal pain & she’d walk up on me & ever so gently do her little "Push Push" massage spreading her toes while she pushed down alternating feet

it’s amazing how such a sweet little furball was so intune with me that we were on the same cycle, she’d go into heat the same time of month that I was having my “time of the month”

It’s tears of a hurting heart that I shed today as I miss my little Queen SagWa & I fuss at myself for not taking more pictures & videos of her in all her sweet glory Ruling over “the boys” including chasing Percy the Destructo Pup around the house, loudly demanding attention when I was training Percy with treats she made it clear that she was overseeing the training & as such she deserved treats too

If SagWa were to have a Super Power in addition to her sweet loving heart she had what we lovingly called the SagWa Sonic Purr which could be heard across the room when she was in vibrate mode
